16 Jan 2016: Running clinic take 2

Today’s running clinic was a little easier.   We walked over to the park and then did the same moving stretches as last week, but thankfully Joan didn’t do the squats!   I think that I would have declined doing them.

We did relays this week in teams of three.  Basically we ran about 200 meters, then recovered while my teammates ran their 200s.  The workout was about 25 minutes long and the recovery time was sufficient – so I’m counting this as my first speed workout!   I pushed myself to run faster than normal given the recovery times and I hope that it helps me.  I need to start increasing my speed.
