My year of running 2017 edition!
- Disney Star Wars Light Side in January 2017. It was my favorite because my whole family participated in the 5k (with the exception of my SIL who has a medical reason not to run). Even my mother, who is in her late 70s, did the 5k!

- I didn’t buy any new gear this year. I still love my original TomTom running watch and my running belt. I am still using my Powerbeats headphones and my Saucony Ride 8 shoes.
- Just keep moving!
- No question about it – Shalene Flanagan winning the women’s field at the NYC marathon!
- My Mom crossing the finish line for her 5k! She was one of the last people to finish but she did it. My husband and brother stayed with her and it was great to see her finish!! And apparently Disney thought so to because they shot off the streamers as she passed the line.
