Tried out the TomTom today on the treadmill. Wasn’t sure how accurate it would be but it seems to work pretty well. I jogged/walked 2 miles in 36:26. Rather slow but I haven’t been feeling 100% the last few days. The interesting thing that the TomTom has that I didn’t know about was the number of strides per minute. Various blogs say that “runners” usually run at 180 for their stride rate, but apparently mine is only 126 strides/min. It makes sense because I’m certainly not a very fast runner.
