Last night while my hubby and I were running errands – mostly grocery shopping – we stopped by Best Buy. I have been wanting to see the various running watches because I have trouble seeing my progress on my phone when I’m running. Partly because the numbers are so small and I don’t wear my reading glasses when I run – and partly because in bright sunlight it is just difficult to see anything on my phone.
My husband’s cousin’s wife is a runner and she told me awhile ago that a TomTom Runner is a budget running watch that does what you need without any frills. So when I researched it – I saw that the information is presented in a large format, but the watch itself seemed not so big.
I liked it when I look at it and others at Best Buy. It was $99- but I was able to save an additional $10- by checking the internet on my phone for a competitor price (which Best Buy then matched).
I can’t wait to use it on my first run this week on Tuesday.
