18 Dec 2015: Week 8 of Zombies 5k – FINISHED!!

I did it!  I actually completed all the Zombies 5k training runs!  My final run was a 5k run.  I ran 3.12 mi in 44:03 for an average pace of 14:08 mi/mi. 11 Dec 2015: Week 7 of Zombies 5k

Clocked 11.33 miles and 3 hours of training during this week’s runs.   I’m trying to build up my stamina by walking after I finish my runs.  While I’m getting in more distance, it is not showing up on my pace because the extra distance is only walking at a slow pace.

Second week of running training is going well.  I’ve finally figured out how to get the GPS to work and my first run of the week was 2.16 mi at a 15.32 pace (min/mi).   I’ve decided to train on Tues/Thur/Sun.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’ll run (….well walk/jog) at the YMCA and then go to Memorial Park on Sundays.…
